Welcome to the website of Banteer National School.
At Banteer National School we are proud to be a rural co-educational school at the heart of our local community. Our school is a place where children are known, valued and supported as individuals, and where strong relationships between pupils, staff, parents and the wider community are central to all that we do. Banteer National School is a welcoming place where pupils’ wellbeing thrives in a happy and supportive environment
Guided by our Catholic ethos, we aim to create a caring, inclusive and faith-filled environment where every child is valued as a unique gift from God.
Our school community is built on values such as respect, kindness, compassion and forgiveness. We strive to provide a happy, safe and inclusive learning environment where we can nurture the spiritual, academic, social and emotional development of each child, encouraging them to reach their full potential as they journey through their primary years.
Our dedicated staff work collaboratively to deliver a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum, while nurturing a love of learning and a sense of responsibility in our pupils. Pupils enjoy being part of a vibrant and inclusive community that fosters both academic and personal growth. Our pupils achieve well and show enthusiasm for learning and interacting with each other.
As a rural school, we value the close connection we have with families and the community around us. Parental involvement and community support play a vital role in school life, and we are grateful for the trust and cooperation shown to us every day.
